A few comic strips from this month that tickled my funny bone. I also added 2 new GIF's from Colossal.com; too much cool stuff ALL the time!

I am taking another vacation day, and the weather is beautiful still. The prediction is now for a wet Labor Day Weekend here, which is somewhat of a bummer because it's our first 3 day weekend of the summer at work where the office is completely closed.

I can't really complain too much, we have had a beautiful summer. I'm going to work in the yard today and get things done while the weather is nice. Maybe I'll finally get around to posting some ice cream recipes this weekend....

It's a Hot One

We are having some really nice sunny weather with highs in the low 80's several days this week. I've also been enjoying some very funny cartoons and memes.

It's Christmas in July with Bizarro by Dan Piraro and a good Get Fuzzy from Darby Conley. Both of these comic strips are favorites of mine.

I love these cartoons; Get Fuzzy especially.

Our weekend is going to be a wet and windy one, it has of course already started. I was able to let the cats out earlier during a brief break in the weather, that did not last long. It's hard for them to adjust to not getting to go out all day on the weekends when I'm home, but the weather is crappy, and that's the way it is.

Saturday is my day for household chores including laundry. Munchkin decided to get in the middle of me making the bed......
