Trump Tried To Mansplain The Midterms To Women

I thought this was a good bit to accompany the Mike Luckovich political cartoon in my previous post....what do you think?

Downton Abbey - Text Santa

It's finally out - The Downton Abbey charity parody with George Clooney. Oh, it's worth the wait, and I wasn't expecting the other guest actors, but honestly they are funnier than he is. Oh man this is good, enjoy!

Groundskeeper Willie's View of Scottish Independence

Like most of Scotland, I'm split 50/50 on this too. But what I can say with 100% certainty is that this is a great "Simpsons" video to mark the occasion!

Zero Dark Foodie

With all of the overtime at work done as of this last week, this was my first full weekend off. I am trying to catch up to The Daily Show, which I am now about 2 1/2 months behind, due also, to the Walking Pneumonia in May. I also need to catch up on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, the latest season started June 19th I think-

Doc Martin Series 6

Doc Martin
Doc Martin Series 6 started on KCTS 9 last night, and it was definitely worth the wait. At the end of Series 5 I wasn't sure if there was going to be another season or not, and I was actually going to be okay if that was the ending, because it was so good. But the new season kicked off in grand style with the wedding and honeymoon of Doc and Louisa. And true to form for the show it mixed in hilarity, poignant moments and blood and guts all to great effect. I had to turn away during the blood and guts because, oh man, there was a lot of it. But thank goodness the episode ended with sweet hilarity! I loved the scene with Aunt Ruth trying to get little James Henry to eat - good stuff.

RIP Harold Ramis

Ghostbusters with Bill Murray. Danny Ackroyd & Harold Ramis

I was very sad to see the news that Harold Ramis passed away today at the age of 69. I am a huge fan of Ghostbusters which he co-wrote and Groundhog Day which he co-wrote and directed. I watch Groundhog Day every year now. Both movies have hilarious dialogue in literally every scene. He was so good as Egon in Ghostbusters - he always reminded me of the actor Edward Everett Horton. Here is my favorite scene out of Groundhog Day

Whoa! Nice Shootin' Tex!

The Bar Has Just Been Raised for the Crazy Cat Lady

The Bar Has Just Been Raised for the Crazy Cat Lady

A lot of bad stuff in the news today that is such a downer I didn't want to tackle it, starting with North Korea.

So instead, I'm doing a 180 with a silly meme that illustrates that not only are there too many wacky people in this world, but just as many that will watch reality television that features them....

A Day In The Life of a Cat Owner

I wish I could get my cats playing like this on video. They do it all the time, especially Boo. But 90% of the time when I grab my camera, they stop and just look at me.
